  • Total Journey is of 7 Nights from Bangalore/Bangalore ,BUT option to book Minimum Three Nights part Journey & pay accordingly
  • Scheduled depart will operate SUBJECT to minimum Eleven Passengers or advance received will be refunded

In Pride of South Journey -On Day 2/Tuesday Night Guests stay OFFBOARD-in jungle lodge at Kabini & excursion to Kabini Tiger Reserve is included in package cost

Professional/Video Camera fees at monuments; Room Service; Alcoholic & Non Alcoholic beverages; Use of Spa & business car facility; telephone calls, Laundry; Tips ;porter fees and all other expenses of personal nature.

BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS (Golden Chariot Train) :
  • The Golden Chariot Train is owned & operated by State Govt. Of Karnataka(KSTDC)
  • Royal Indian Trains is authorized Marketing Agent of KSTDC & our liability is limited to that of booking agent only
  • The Client is liable to pay taxes-as applicable on date of journey & NOT as per advance received Or ticket issued

  1. Advice date of journey
  2. Advice preference to book two separate bed(viz twin bedded) Cabin OR Single large Bed(queen size ) Cabin
  3. Forward Names/Sex/Age/Nationality of all the passengers to process booking
  4. To confirm booking- We require Advance deposit of minimum 20% of ticket value(inclusive taxes)
  5. Balance amount must reach us at least 40 days prior to depart date, with passport copy of all passengers (Indian Nationals can forward any other Govt. Issued Indian Residence Id Proof )
  6. Booking request made <40 days prior to Tour Depart will be confirmed on receipt of one time full tour deposit
  7. Foreign Passport Holders must ensure ,before boarding flight to India -that they have valid Indian Visa-Issued either through local Indian consulate OR obtained online through
  8. Train Tour e-ticket will only be issued-,Only when full tour amount has been received
  1. Train Tour operator(KSTDC) reserves the right to amend booking terms & conditions
  2. If request for cancellation received> 62 working days prior to depart date ,THEN minimum 5%(five) cancellation fee applicable on total ticket value
  3. If request for cancellation received between 61 days & 32 working days prior to depart date ,THEN minimum 20%(twenty) cancellation fee applicable on total ticket value
  4. If request for cancellation received between 31 days & 17 working days prior to depart date ,THEN minimum 50%(fifty) cancellation fee applicable on total ticket value
  5. 100% Cancellation fee on total ticket value , If request for cancellation received less than 17 working days prior to depart date
  6. Request for Changes in Passenger Names AND /Or journey date will be governed by cancellation rules
  7. Failure to meet with Payment Terms –will be governed by cancellation rules
  8. Train Tour operator (KSTDC) reserves the right to cancel the scheduled train depart for technical reasons OR if minimum passengers CLAUSE not metAND Under SUCH Circumstances ,a Minimum Fifteen Days’ Notice will be provided & advance received for train tour booking will be refunded - with no further liability of Royal Indian Trains to bear any other expense of CLIENT towards Cancellation fee on Air Tickets , Hotel Booking any Other Travel Arrangements.

To Issue Train Tour e-Ticket (For all passengers, We require) :
  • Foreign Passport Holders must forward Copy of Passport
  • Indian Nationals Can forward COPY of ANY ONE of the following id proof documents (viz. either copy of Passport OR Driving License OR Aadhar Card Or Voter Id Card OR Pan Card)
  • OCI card holders eligible to pay as Per Indian National Tariff ,must forward copies all 3 documents Viz. Pan Card, Passport & OCI card
Important :
  1. Overseas guests are requested to pre-purchase Tour Insurance from country of origin of travel
  2. Maximum liability of Royal Indian trains is limited to that of booking agent only.
  3. Liability of Principal train Tour Operator is limited to as defined in Indian Railways Act.
  4. Disputes (if any) are subject to jurisdiction of courts of New Delhi(India) only.
